Sep 28, 2011
Pine Crest went to St.
Andrews School in Boca Raton on Tuesday to take on the "Scots" in
what is turning out to be one of our best dual meets of the season
every year. While the results are "Unofficial" it appears
from how Coach David and Coach Mariusz were keeping score that the
Panthers won both the boys and girls meet. The boys meet was
clearly won by Pine Crest as the Panthers dominated most of the
events. If our scoring is correct the Lady Panthers won by 4
points. So once again it was a TEAM effort that provided the
The meet was delayed several times due to Lighting Alert and this also caused some problems with the Timing System and the Meet Computers "talking to each other" that is why we will have to wait until later tomorrow to get the "official" results. But here are some "unofficial" highlights.

St. Andrews won the 200 free, but Casey Francis and Mallory McKeon were 2nd and 3rd to keep the score in favor of Pine Crest. The 200 IM saw another 2-3 finish by Brittany Hammond and Lindsey Swartz, and it was the same in the 50 free as Hannah Veale and Kaelah Chaney went 2-3. After that all Pine Crest needed to do was finish 3rd in the 400 Free Relay to secure the win which they did, but again the score is "unofficial" 94-91.
